Sometimes I wonder how people who don’t even follow me reblog my posts like who are you how did you get here
Q:How can we be sure God is real? White people have terrorized and forced Christianity on every culture on the planet. Killed. Stole. Raped all in the name of Jesus. I am loosing faith and as a person of color why should I trust the white mans religion
The principal goal of dominion theology and Christian reconstructionism is political and religious domination of the world through the implementation of the moral laws, and subsequent punishments, of the Old Testament (the sacrificial and ceremonial laws having been fulfilled in the New Testament). This is not a government system ruled by the church, but rather a government conformed to the Law of God.
God has never called Christians to establish a physical kingdom ruled by His laws, commands, and statutes. The mission of Christians is to share the gospel of salvation with the whole world (Matthew 28:18-20; Acts 1:8). When people are saved, the Holy Spirit will begin the work in them of changing their lives into conformity with God’s Word (Philippians 1:6; 1 Thessalonians 2:13). It is only when a society or culture is populated with born-again Christians that the society is changed, one heart and one life at a time. That is why Christ put an end to the Old Testament Law (Romans 10:4; Galatians 3:24-26; Ephesians 2:15) and instead instituted the law of Christ (Matthew 22:37-40; Galatians 6:2). The law of love and grace is what is needed in the hearts of men who, once their hearts are changed, can corporately effect change in their society.
Attempts to change societies and cultures from without will always fail. Changing people on the inside is God’s work through His Holy Spirit, and therefore no one can be forced into the kingdom. God is more interested in saving people’s souls than He is in forcing people to obey His laws. If an unsaved person if forced to obey God’s law, he would be doing it out of fear and obligation. God wants a person to come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9) and then to obey His commands out of reverence and love (1 John 5:3). God has not called us to enforce His commands on an unredeemed world. Rather, he has called us to proclaim the message of salvation—the redeeming power and life-transforming message of Jesus’ death on the cross (Romans 5:8). Our task is preaching the Gospel through God’s love in Christ, those who don’t do that or do everything else but that in God’s name, the Lord will not leave the guilty unpunished. (Nahum 1:3)

You still have a lot of time to make yourself be what you want.
Please hear me, Girl: The world has enough women who know how to do their hair. It needs women who know how to do hard and holy things.
Just so no one misunderstands
I recently got an Anon message that really infuriated me, and it talked about my favorite (read: it drives me up the freakin’ wall)tumblr topic in the world: triggers.
There are some things people find hazardous to their health, whether mental, physical, or spiritual. I understand that. There are some things that people just do not want to see on their dash for whatever past related reason. I understand that too.
I’m 100% certain that some of these “triggers” (I’m not saying all; I’m saying some) could be overcome if people actually made an effort to control themselves and their reactions upon seeing a trigger. We’re human beings; we’re not designed to stay complacent in one spot forever. We have to learn to adapt. And these triggers are no different. I mean, we’re constantly changing; our bodies and our minds are constantly changing.
And really, the only reason I’m saying this is because I’m so tired of seeing some of these people I follow try to dictate how others blog and then see these same people angrily condemn people for not following directions while they - themselves - don’t do a damn thing. We’re not your servants. Either unfollow the person or attempt to change that mindset to the point where you don’t react so unnecessarily violent to a trigger. Or something. Don’t be idle about the whole thing.
Tumblr really has this disgusting mindset of complacency when it comes to triggers and, frankly, it needs to be changed. Tumblr wants the world to change, but when it comes to inner change, almost nobody wants to do it because “oh that’s just who I am and people should just deal with it”.
Positive Thinking Tips
1. Be grateful for what you have. Too often we think about what we don’t have, or how we’ve been hurt, or what’s gone wrong. But there are even more things to be thankful for.
2. Believe you have what it takes to succeed. Don’t give up on yourself when you do something stupid or you meet some obstacle that interrupts your plans. You’re still in control of your destiny.
3. Write your negative thoughts down on a piece of paper then tear it into pieces or burn the list. Now, write a long list of personal affirmations and decide to read through this several times a day.
4. Recognise and avoid all the negative people who’ll wear you down or knock you off your path. Often whiners and complainers are never going to change – so minimize the time you spend with them.
5. Identify and hang out with positive people who see life as a gift to be treasured and enjoyed. These are the people who see the good in others, and offer encouragement to everyone they meet.
